La stampa videoludica statunitense si è espressa in via definitiva assegnando i premi per l’E3 2013 di Los Angeles, che si è svolto negli Stati Uniti nella seconda settimana di giugno. A fare vera e propria incetta di premi è stato Titanfall, la nuova IP sviluppata da Respawn Entertainment ed Electronic Arts e prevista per il momento solo su PC, Xbox 360 e Xbox One, anche se lo studio sviluppatore, formato da veterani della serie Call of Duty, non ha escluso che il gioco possa arrivare successivamente anche su altre piattaforme, come PlayStation 4.
Titanfall ha dunque conquistato il premio come “Miglior Gioco”, “Miglior Gioco Originale”, “Miglior gioco per console”, “Miglior gioco per PC” e “Miglior gioco d’Azione”. Electronic Arts vince quindi come editore più premiato, mentre PC, Xbox 360 e Xbox One sono le piattaforme di maggior successo. Segue la lista completa dei premi assegnati:
