Se Just Dance 3 era stato il re del Natale, a chiudere l’anno in testa alla classifica dei videogiochi più venduti nel Regno Unito è, senza sorprese, FIFA 12, il simulatore calcistico d’eccellenza prodotto da EA Sports che grazie alla versione per Xbox 360 conquista la prima posizione nell’ultima settimana del 2011.
Dietro di lui un altro blockbuster, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, seguito a sua volta da Battlefield 3: anche loro in versione Xbox 360. Insomma, conferme abbastanza scontate.
La top ten di fine anno quindi non regala particolari sorprese. Just Dance 3 è scivolato in quarta posizione, anticipando in classifica le versioni PlayStation 3 di FIFA 12, Battlefield 3 e Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Poi, ecco Assassin’s Creed: Revelations e Saints Row: The Third su Xbox 360, con Mario Kart per Nintendo 3DS a chiudere definitivamente le prime dieci posizioni.
Si segnala il rientro in top 40 di Rage, lo sparatutto post-apocalittico di id Software che si piazza venticinquesimo su Xbox 360 e trentasettesimo su PlayStation 3. Ritorna anche Gears of War 3, seppur in quarantesima posizione, così come F1 2011, due posizioni sopra nella versione Xbox 360.
