Call Of Duty Black Ops è il gioco più venduto del 2010 in Inghilterra, secondo i dati rilasciati da UKIE, un risultato che, sinceramente, non stupisce, da notare però che il gioco Activision è uscito nei negozi solamente il 9 novembre, praticamente a fine anno, nonostante questo ha venduto più di giochi usciti mesi prima, come God Of War 3 o Red Dead Redemption. Gran Turismo 5 non riesce ad entrare nella top ten multiformato, mentre si piazza al terzo posto tra i giochi più venduti per PS3. Lo stesso destino è toccato a GOW 3, non presente in classifica.

Il gioco più venduto per Xbox 360 e PS3 è stato proprio Black Ops, mentre su Wii il trionfatore assoluto è Just Dance di UbiSoft. Su PC, contrariamente alle previsioni, regna Football Manager 2011, mentre World of Warcraft Cataclysm e StarCraft 2 Wings Of Liberty sono relegati in quarta e quinta posizione, superati da Football Manager 2010 e The Sims 3. Per quanto riguarda le console portatili, su DS il trionfatore è Professor Layton e il Futuro Perduto, mentre PSP vede in testa FIFA 11.
