Il mercato in Giappone è tornato ai numeri pre-festivi. Gli ultimi dati di vendita rilasciati poco fa da Media Create parlano chiaro: flessione generale nelle vendite, anche se il Nintendo 3DS, in testa, mantiene delle ottime 80.000 unità settimanali.
Tutto quanto si è detto e ripetuto nelle scorse settimane è comunque confermato: domina il Nintendo 3DS, seguito a lunghissima distanza da PlayStation 3, PSP e PlayStation Vita. Purtroppo per Sony ancora in questo ordine: la sua console portatile è infatti scesa a sole 15.000 console vendute.
Una situazione difficile che non permette a Sony di consolarsi neanche con il suo predecessore, PSP, che dopo anni di grande forma in Giappone sembra essere pronto a prendere la via del tramonto in attesa che l’erede riesca finalmente a conquistare sul serio i cuori dei fan nipponico.
Nessun grosso cambiamento neanche per il software, le uniche novità arrivano da Rhythm Thief & the Emperor’s Treasure per 3DS in seconda posizione, Onechanbara Z: Kagura per Xbox 360 in quinta, Heroes Phantasia per PSP sesto e Beyond the Labyrinth, ancora per 3DS, ottavo. In testa rimane sempre Mario Kart 7, con Monster Hunter 3G a chiudere il podio. Wipeout 2048 per PlayStation Vita non entra neanche in top 20.
